I’ve gotten flack for it before, but Mario 3 was the single greatest game of all time. It was a perfect match of innovation, tradition, adventure, and playability. I really cannot tell you how much I love that game. It was like my second little brother growing up, and much more fun to play with. So, when I say that this new Mario might just be all I loved about Mario 3 and more, it is a serious admission of the potential this game has. Thank the Nintendo gods that there is finally a game that might grasp at the glory that is Mario 3. Despite the successes of future Mario titles, all I really wanted was to play new Mario 3 levels. Squirting things with water pistols and playing with gravity was methadone for a full blown heroine addict; it just aint the same.

So, I have a proposition. For Thanksgiving, the four nerds will return to their hometown from the disparate corners of the earth. As the stars aligned for Hank Morgan, so shall they again for the four nerds. This game comes out just before Thanksgiving, and I purpose we review it for the masses. Let them know the love I knew; let them see the wonder in a child’s eye. For the poor deprived childeren of this age need a Mario 3, and it is a moral mandate that Nintendo provides.
